Civil Registration System, ‘Pehchan’
Pehchan is the unified portal for Birth, Death and Marriage Registration implemented across Rajasthan for all Registrars in Local Bodies, Gram Panchayats, Government Hospitals, PHC and CHC. Major private hospitals in the state have also been reporting the Birth and Death Events online in the system. The system is Aadhaar enabled and all certificates are being stored in Raj e-vault as a repository. System generates unique registration number for new registrations and legacy registrations are registered with the original registration number. QR code is implemented on each certificate. PVC Birth cards are also being issued through the system. System generates digitally signed certificates. Android and iOS Mobile Apps are available for the citizens for various citizen centric services. About 1.41 Crores registrations have been done through the system.
