Governance Now Digital Transformation Awards 2019 for GRIP application
Grameen Internal Audit Portal (GRIP) application developed by NIC for the O/o CCA, MoRD, PR, DWS and LR, awarded with the Governance Now Digital Transformation Awards 2019, under the category of Digital Transformation in Rural Development. The award ceremony was held at The Lalit, New Delhi on 6th November 2019.GRIP is an open-source application developed to facilitate the Internal Audit of the schemes run by the PR, DWS and LR. The application has been developed by NIC, MoPR as per the requirements of the Office of Controller of Accounts, PR, DWS and LR.
The software facilitates the online Internal Audit while serving the purpose of maintaining the past audit records of the Auditee along with the associated list of the Auditors and audit team involved in the audit. It acts as a good tool to enhance the performance of the auditee. Various audit reports are generated automatically and analytical reports on the audit are available online.
