National eGovernance Award 2014 for Kanyashree Online
Kanyashree Online, designed & developed by NIC WBSC, is the e-governance mechanism of the Kanyashree programme which provides a Single-window digital platform & end- to-end ICT enablement for providing conditional cash transfer to adolescent girls of the State. The entire process starting from enrollment to direct bank transfer is online. The services are available through multiple modes like portal, mobile app, smart phone version as well as through SMS services.
Around 62.6 lakh girls are so far enrolled in 7 years, total no of sanctioned ‘Cash Transfers’ is around 7386.4 Crores and over 17,000 institutions have been registered & running the system throughout the State.
