Punjab has been conferred with the prestigious Certificate of Appreciation for delivering commendable services during General Elections 2009 award by the District Administrator Ferozpeur for the year 2009. The award was given in the category – Regional, for the project DISE (District Information System for Election), developed by Punjab.
