The Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA) provides Quality Data Analytic Services to various Government Departments at all levels as well as to Public Sector Units at the Centre and in States. It was established in 2018, with a sole vision of kick-starting and fast-tracking the adoption of advanced analytic and machine learning capabilities within the Government. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Union Minister of Law & Justice, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), launched the Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA) on 28th September 2018 in New Delhi. The ceremony was presided over by Shri S.S. Ahluwalia, Hon’ble Minister of State (E&IT), Shri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary (MeitY), Shri Pankaj Kumar, Additional Secretary (MeitY), Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General (NIC) Shri MK Mishra, Managing Director (NICSI) and several dignitaries from the government, industry and academia.
