Gov Tech-Thon 2020, a virtual hackathon, is being organised under the aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to boost innovation & use of technology in various sectors.

Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology announced the Hackathon by releasing the Online Registration portal and appreciated the efforts by NIC, IEEE & Oracle for coming together to conduct this hackathon. On the occasion, Director General, NIC stated that Gov-TechThon 2020 will spur a lot of ideas, proof of concepts, working models for innovation and inclusion in Government services

The five challenges from M/o Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, M/o Education, and M/o Road Transport and Highways were briefly explained during the event.
