26th National Conference on e-Governance organized by the DARPG
- In last 9 years, Government has made e-Governance a priority, with focus on providing last mile connectivity to every citizen in country. This is to ensure ease of living for citizens and ease of doing business for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and MSMEs.- Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary MeitY, during the Session on “Digital Transformation for India’s Techade” at the 26th National Conference on e-Governance.
- SVAMITVA Scheme of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, conferred with the National Award for e-Governance 2023 (Gold) for Application of Emerging Technologies for Providing Citizen Centric Services, at 26th National Conference on e-Governance organized by the DARPG, in Madhya Pradesh.
SVAMITVA is technically supported by NIC and provides ownership to property owners in villages by using drone & GIS technology. This facilitates the monetization of rural residential assets for bank loans & other financial benefits and helps in the settlement of land disputes.
- Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur awarded with the National Award for eGovernance 2023 (Gold) for Excellence in research on citizen-centric services by an Academic/Research institution.
