Ushering in a new technological era, Hon’ble Prime Minister launched 5G services on 1st October in New Delhi. He also inaugurated the sixth edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC), with the theme of “New Digital Universe”. It brought together leading thinkers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and government officials to discuss and showcase unique opportunities emerging from the rapid adoption and spread of digital technology. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, MeitY, NIC & NeGD together organised a #FitIndiaFreedomRun 3.0 at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi. Officials participated in the Plog Run and spread the message of #SwacchBharat – #SwasthBharat. People chose health & fitness & participated whole-heartedly, with extreme zeal & enthusiasm.

Guided by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, it was decided in 2014 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel viz. 31st October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, to reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. MeitY and NIC celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2022 at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi. Secretary MeitY in the presence of Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary MeitY, administrated pledge to the Government Officials, to preserve the Unity, Integrity & Security of the Nation.

Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 was being observed from 31st October to 2nd November 2022 with the theme “Corruption Free India for a developed Nation”. Shri Rajesh Gera, DG, NIC administered ‘Integrity Pledge’ with NIC Officers & Staff at NIC HQ along with all States & Districts, via Video Conferencing.
