• NIC received many awards and accolades at the recently held 12th National Voters Day. Below are the glimpses from the ceremony.

Shri R.S Mani, DDG NIC & Member of Technical Advisory Group, ECI has been bestowed with ‘National Award’ under Special category for providing seamless IT support to ECI, along with other members.

NIC Puducherry UT has been awarded under ‘Special Category’ for the Technical contributions to General Elections 2021. Chief Secretary, Puducherry & Chief Electoral Officer, Puducherry bestowed this Award to the team.

• NIC received many awards during the 24th National Conference on e-Governance held in Hyderabad.

NIC’s eShramik Seva project for Labour Department, Chhattisgarh has been conferred with National Award (Gold) under the category
‘Universalising Access including eServices’.

District Bandipora, J&K received National Award for eGovernance The award has been conferred for NIC developed innovative digital product “Panchayat Development Index”.

Virtual Courts, developed by NIC for ecommittee (Supreme Court) won National Award for eGovernance 2020-2021 (Gold), under category ‘Excellence in Process re-engineering for Digital Transformation. The Award was conferred by Hon’ble Union MoS (IC), Ministry of Science & Technology and Hon’ble IT Minister, Telangana. Virtual Courts aim at eliminating the physical presence of litigant/lawyer in court and for adjudication of cases in a virtual mode.

NIC Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu UT received National Award (Silver) for ICMS (Integrated Covid Management System), under the category “Usage of ICT in the Management of Covid-19”.

NIC Madhya Pradesh developed ‘eMARG’ received National eGovernance award conferred by Hon’ble Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh. eMarg is an enterprise e-Gov solution for the maintenance of rural roads constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.

Srinagar District, J&K has been conferred with National Award (Gold) by Hon’ble Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh for eGovernance under
‘Covid-19 Management with the use of Technology’.

The various innovative IT measures taken by NIC Srinagar such as Contact Tracing, Geo-fencing & Quarantine Management, helped in containment of Covid-19 during the Pandemic.
