राज्यों एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के श्रम मंत्रियों और श्रम सचिवों का तिरुपति में दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय श्रम सम्मेलन में प्रधानमंत्री ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि “400 से अधिक व्यवसायों से संबंधित 28 करोड़ से अधिक असंगठित श्रमिकों को ई-श्रम पोर्टल पर पंजीकृत किया जा चुका है।”

Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah launched NIDAAN portal, in the presence of Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Governor of Punjab & Administrator Chandigarh, Lt. Governor of Jammu Kashmir, CMs of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh. Developed by NIC, the portal provides information about arrested NARCO Offenders, & helps the central Law Enforcement Agencies like Narcotics Control Bureau of India, National Investigation Agency, & State Police for investigation & proactive policing regarding Drugs related cases.

NIC developed Paper Import Monitoring System for Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry collects detailed info on imports of paper and helps in the analysis of trade data & policy formulation. Stakeholders must submit advance information of import of items, through online mode only

Common Registration Facility has been launched by the Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of CA, F & PD, on a pilot basis for 11 States/UTs. This digital solution by NIC is an enabler for States/UTs to complete the ‘beneficiary inclusion’ exercise under National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA).
