Hon’ble Prime Minister released the 12th instalment of PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi on October 17, 2022, through Direct Benefit Transfer. More than Rs 16,000 crore have been transferred to over 8 crores farmers by one click using ICT solution of PM-KISAN (https://pmkisan.gov.in), developed by NIC.

NIC has developed District ranking dashboard for Jal Jeevan Survekshan 2023 to get details on top performing Districts under Jal Jeevan Mission. JJM is an initiative of Ministry of Jal Shakti to provide every Indian household tap water connection.

Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development launched NIC developed Revamped eGram Swaraj Portal for thematic planning by the Panchayats, for the 15th Finance Commission Grants utilization & Convergence among various Govt. Departments. Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development launched the Integrated Dashboard – https://egramswaraj.gov.in/mprDashboard.do developed by NIC using its Tejas-Vi tool, for monitoring the schemes of Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Ministry of Rural Development, and Department of Land Reforms, Govt. of India.

Secretary Ministry of Panchayati Raj, in the presence of Secretary Ministry of Rural Development, Secretary Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and Secretary Ministry of Jal Shakti, DoWR, RD&GR, GoI launched the online portal of the People’s Plan Campaign (PPC) 2022. The PPC portal has been developed by NIC for People’s Plan Campaign of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, to organize the Gram Sabha for the holistic development plan of panchayats.

Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India along with NIC has put in place a robust system, eGramSwaraj for effective monitoring of public expenditure. This comprehensive online application has various modules for planning, reporting & accounting etc. capturing day-to-day activities including digital payments. The recent total transaction value processed through eGSPI crossed Rs.1 Lakh crore, which is a significant achievement that has enabled a digital revolution at the grassroots level.

The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India launched Indian Handicraft Portal http://indian.handicrafts.gov.in through which eligible artisans can apply online for marketing events like Dilli Haat & Gandhi Shilp Bazar etc.

UG-Medical Counselling 2022 has been launched by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) with the technical support of NIC for admissions to medical courses in all the premier Medical Institutions. Candidates can register for Round1 UG Medical Counselling at https://mcc.nic.in

Allotment result of Round 3 of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling has been announced. JoSAA initiated the Counselling 2022 with technical support of NIC for admissions in IITs, NITs, IIEST & IIITs etc.
