The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education released the National Achievement Survey (NAS) 2021 report which assesses the health of school education system in the country. The survey was managed through the technology platform designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC). Around 34 lakh students of 1.18 lakh schools in 720 districts from both rural and urban areas participated.

Hon’ble Union Minister for Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, released Breed-Wise Report of Livestock and Poultry. NIC has designed, developed, and implemented the software system for 20th Livestock Census. Tablet based solution was used for the first time for collection of data under this survey.

Online Building Permission System was launched for Urban Development & Housing Dept., Sikkim, by Hon’ble Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs & Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri. Developed by NIC, OBPS facilitates Online Scrutiny of Building Plans, Building Permit Applications & delivery of Building Permission Certificate.
