Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, inaugurated one of the most awaited Atal Paryavaran Bhawan in Lakshadweep. Atal Paryavaran Bhawan is the Unique Ecofriendly Green Building with Hi-Tech facilities for Coral and other Marine Biodiversity Research.

During the event, NIC developed website for Department of Environment & Forest, Lakshadweep was also launched. The website will provide information about Government Orders & Circulars, Tenders and Protected Areas & Species in the region.

Advisor to the Administrator, Shri A. Anbarasu, IAS, the Secretary Environment & Forest and the Chief Wildlife Warden of Lakshadweep Shri Damodhar A.T., IFS, the Collector, Shri Asker Ali, IAS accompanied the Hon’ble Union Minister on this event.
