Launches at Centre

  • Hon’ble Prime Minister launched multiple technology initiatives of the Supreme Court of India – Digital Supreme Court Reports, Digital Courts 2.0, and new website of Supreme Court.

  • All 713 District Courts websites have been migrated to NIC’s S3WaaS framework for user-friendly design and enhanced accessibility, meeting Indian Govt website guidelines.

  • The eFiling platform offers a host of improved features, that have made 24*7 filing of cases simpler, faster, and convenient. Available in 25 States, eFiling has recorded over 29 lakh cases.

  • Adoption of eOffice has enabled the officers of the Supreme Court registry to perform their routine work in a paperless mode. 36 branches of the Supreme Court registry have been onboarded on eOffice & more than 4000 office files have been processed online so far.
  • Virtual Courts initiative transformed courtroom access and online dispute resolution. Implemented in 20 states, resulting in 4.37 Cr challans and a total fine collection of 502 Cr rupees.
  • Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances launched the web-portal for Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2023. Principal Secretaries (AR)/(IT), and DCs/DMs of all States/UTs joined the launch event through video conferencing.

  • Designed & developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) the portal enables Govt Officials to file nominations for PM’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration 2023. The Prize money of Rs. 20 lakhs will be awarded to the winning District/Organization to be utilized for public welfare.
