National Workshop on Electronic Procurement
- A National Workshop on Electronic Procurement was organized at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 27th March, 2023 by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure along with National Informatics Centre, MeitY. The workshop brought together all leading Public Procurement portals like GeM, Railways and GePNIC to deliberate upon key aspects of today’s procurement needs and expectations of greater fairness, efficiency, and transparency. - Shri Rajesh Gera, DG, NIC addressed the National Workshop on Electronic Procurement, in New Delhi. He talked about the rich features of the eProcurement system & GeM portal. He also highlighted the vital role played by the eProcurement system in the Government.
- Shri Prashant Kumar, CEO, GeM at the National Workshop on Electronic Procurement, spoke about the Government e-Marketplace GeM. He touched upon the key features of the GeM portal and the new functionalities being incorporated.
- Shri Sanjay Aggarwal, Advisor, PPD, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India in his address at the National Workshop on Electronic Procurement, in New Delhi, talked about the journey and future road map of the eProcurement system.
- Shri Rajesh Gera, Director General, NIC released the GePNIC compendium at the National Workshop on Electronic Procurement.
