Embracing the power of yoga to find balance, focus, and inner strength. A lecture on Yoga was organized at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. Yoga experts from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, highlighted the benefits of Yoga for our physical as well as mental health. NIC States & District Centres were connected via VC.

• Celebrating World Bicycle Day 2023! CEO, NITI Aayog, in the presence of Secretary, MeitY, flags off the cycling marathon, organized by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, at CGO Complex, New Delhi.Bicycle is the most sustainable mode of transportation, and bicycling is a great way of exercise that leads to better physical and mental health.

• Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, in the august presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister & Hon’ble Minister of Building Construction Department, Government of Bihar inaugurated NIC Bhawan (the 5 Storied Building of NIC-Bihar State Centre), in Patna.

• Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud visited Cloud Services and Data Centre of NIC. Shri Rajesh Gera, DG(NIC) along with Senior Officers briefed him about services of National Informatics Centre.

• Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, Additional Secretary, MeitY visited NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. DG NIC along with senior officers of NIC described the role of NIC in delivering eGovernance solutions and citizen centric services.

• Precursor to World Environment Day 2023, a lecture on “Innovative Ways to Conserve Water & Water Harvesting” under Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) was organized at NIC Hqrs, New Delhi. NIC States & District Centres were connected via VC.

• NIC organized a seminar on the “Implementation of Cyber Security Standards in Government”, at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. The Keynote speaker Shri U. K. Nandwani, Former DG, STQC Directorate presented the Formulation and Implementation of Cyber Security Management Plan.

• NIC showcased “NextGen eHospital” at the exhibition during the G20 3rd Health Working Group meeting being held at Hyderabad from 4th to 6th June 2023. Hon’ble Minister of State, Shri. S P Singh Baghel, Ministry of Health, Dr V K Paul, Member, NITI Aayog visited NIC NextGen eHospital Stall. International delegates from various countries visited and interacted with the eHospital team.

• NIC organized an interactive session on ‘Enterprise Architecture in Government: Maximizing the Value and Impact of GovTech’, at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. NIC State and District Centres were connected via Video Conferencing.

• Ms. Alka Misra, DDG, NIC, addresses a session on “Digital Document Exchange for Efficient Service Delivery”, at the Global DPI Summit, Pune, Maharashtra.
