• 31st ICAO Public Key Directory Workshop & Board Meeting took place in Xi’an, China, from 24-26 Sept 2024. Shri IPS Sethi, DDG, NIC, represented the MEA India delegation, led by JS(PSP) & CPO. The meeting discussed ePassport initiatives by member countries.

• Delegates from the Ministry of Interior and National Administration, Government of Kenya visited India for the International Mentorship/ Partnership Programme organized by the National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC), Cabinet Secretariat, GoI.

• Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, addressed the inaugural session of the eTrans24 Workshop in Pune, Maharashtra. This two-day zonal workshop on the eTransport project has been hosted by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways & NIC for the Southern States/UTs, including Chhattisgarh.

• In the presence of senior Government officials, NIC team gave a presentation on ICT initiatives, Declaration Process under Article VI & OPCW Training Management System.

• एनआईसी मुख्यालय में हिन्दी कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें डॉ. ज्ञानेंद्र कुमार दयाल, सहायक प्रोफेसर, दयाल सिंह कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय, ने ‘राजभाषा तथा तकनीकी/ प्रशासनिक शब्दावली’ विषय पर विस्तृत चर्चा की। देशभर से एनआईसी कर्मचारी वीसी के माध्यम से इस कार्यशाला से जुड़े।

• NIC organised a workshop on ‘Top Trends, Risks and Opportunities of Generative AI for Government’, at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. Officials from Gartner gave a detailed presentation featuring the key issues, use cases, and the best practices for deploying Generative AI.

• A 3-day training workshop on MedLEaPR was organized at the Police Sanchar Training Centre, Dehradun. The workshop led by senior NIC officers, focused on training medical professionals across Uttarakhand with the highest level of accuracy & expertise in medical record management.

• A training program on ‘eSakshya App’ has been organised by NIC,at Kargil District, Ladakh.
  NIC officers gave detailed presentation on the features & working of the App. 60+ Police officials including all SHOs, ICs, & PPS from across the Kargil participated in the training.

• NIC organized a training session on ‘eSakshya App’ for the officials of Leh Police, at District Police Lines, Choglamsar. Dy. SP, DAR, Leh, Reserve Inspector of District Police Line, SHOs, IC, PPS, and Investigating Officers of Leh Police.

• श्री विवेक वर्मा, एसआईओ व डीडीजी, एनआईसी ने चंडीगढ़ में पंजाब सरकार द्वारा आयोजित डिजिटल इंडिया लैंड रिकॉर्ड्स मॉडर्नाइजेशन प्रोग्राम(DILRMP) की समीक्षा के लिए एक क्षेत्रीय सम्मेलन में प्रस्तावित “नेक्स्टजेन डिजिटल इंटीग्रेटेड पंजाब लैंड रिकॉर्ड्स सिस्टम” प्रस्तुत किया।

• एनआईसी ने बिहार में ‘केन केयर सॉफ्टवेयर’ पर एक मास्टर ट्रेनर प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन किया। एनआईसी द्वारा डिज़ाइन और विकसित, यह एप्लिकेशन किसान पंजीकरण, गन्ना बीज प्रबंधन/वितरण, गन्ने की खेती के पर्यवेक्षण/निरीक्षण और सब्सिडी के वितरण में मदद करता है।

• बीएसएनएल ओडिशा सर्कल में ‘हैकर्स पर्सपेक्टिव से साइबर सुरक्षा’ विषय पर एक सेमिनार में प्रतिष्ठित वक्ता, एनआईसी के संयुक्त निदेशक (आईटी) श्री नीलाद्रि बिहारी मोहंती ने डिजिटल पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में सुरक्षा कमजोरियों का फायदा उठाने के लिए हैकर्स द्वारा इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली रणनीति का गहन विश्लेषण किया।

• NIC ने स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग, दिल्ली के समन्वय से दिल्ली के सरकारी अस्पतालों में कार्यरत चिकित्सा पेशेवरों के लिए MedLEaPR पर एक कार्यशाला की। NIC द्वारा विकसित MedLEaPR कानूनी न्याय प्रणाली में आवश्यक मेडिको-लीगल रिपोर्टिंग के लिए सुव्यवस्थित व सुरक्षित समाधान है।

• NIC organised a half day Executive Briefing Session on “Empowering Data-Driven Decisions: Where MySQL Meets Strategic Vision” at NIC Hqrs. Head of MySQL Solution Engineering-India presented the Open Source Dominance, Data Security, Unified Data Strategy & ORM support of MySQL.

• एनआईसी प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा एनआईसी मुख्यालय में ‘Modernisation of Database Landscape – EDB Postgres‘ पर एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमे उच्चाधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। कार्यशाला में अन्य अधिकारी वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से जुड़े।
