• Secretary, Finance Department, Govt of West Bengal inaugurated a State-Level Workshop on eProcurement Portal of GePNIC, organised by NIC in West Bengal. Senior NIC Officers talked about the important features of the system to the State Level Officers from various Departments.

• “पुस्तकालय प्रबंधन प्रणाली: ई-ग्रंथालय” पर दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन महाराजा जीवाजीराव पुस्तकालय, विक्रम विश्वविद्यालय उज्जैन और राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र, मध्यप्रदेश के सहयोग से किया गया। कार्यशाला में 88 प्रतिभागियों को सॉफ्टवेयर के उपयोग संबंधित प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।

• Integration of NIC’s Sandes & ICJS is made operational in Madhya Pradesh. NIC officials demonstrated its working and created closed groups for information exchange among Police, Prosecution, Prison, Forensic & Law officials involved in the trial/investigation of cases for speedy justice delivery.

• A comprehensive training-cum-demo session was organized by NIC in Punjab on the ‘Complaint Reporting and Redressal System’ for Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, other staff, and District Informatics Officers of the State. The Complaint Reporting and Redressal System provides a platform for voters to lodge online complaints related to the elections of local bodies.

• NIC Shillong collaborated with North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), for a five-day workshop on the Advancement of Sign Language App Interpreting Service, in Meghalaya. Other participants included the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), NIT Meghalaya, and local Deaf community of Shillong to establish a robust foundation for advancements in Sign Language Recognition Technology.

• श्री आई.पी.एस सेठी डी.डी.जी द्वारा आज एनआईसी के समस्त अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों को सामाजिक न्‍याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय के नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत शपथ दिलाई। नशा न केवल व्यक्ति के स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित करता है, बल्कि उसके परिवार और पूरे समाज को भी प्रभावित करता है।

• Ministry of Home Affairs conducted a one-day sensitization workshop on ‘Assessing the Cyber Security Needs of States/UTs’, in Puducherry. NIC officials gave a presentation on the performance appraisal of the Southern States with respect to cyber & information security posture.

• NIC conducted a one-day workshop on CollabFiles & eGov platforms, chaired by the Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana & ACS (CRID), at Chandigarh. CollabFiles is an indigenous platform developed by NIC to connect, create, share & collaborate on office documents.

• NIC organized a capacity-building training session on IVFRT Application for the Police Officials of Ladakh UT, at District Police Lines, Leh. Officials from PHQ Ladakh, DPO Leh, DPO Kargil and Foreigner Registration Office-TR (Tibetan Refugee) Leh attended the training.
  

• NIC, in association with Microsoft, organized a training session on GitHub Copilot at NIC Hqrs., New Delhi. The technical team from Microsoft gave a presentation-cum-demo on GitHub Copilot and briefed how it helps in accelerating innovation and developer productivity.
