iHRMS Punjab is developed to provide single platform to all government entities viz. department, PSU, Board, Corporations, Universities, Medical Collages for HR management of employee starting from entry into service to exit. It has become an enabler of G2E governance having standardized process flow for each stake holder be State Government, Administrative Secretaries, Department Heads, Office Heads, DDOs for defined set of activities in role-based and work flow manner. iHRMS is not merely a front-end system but all back-end office related activities are performed as per work rules fitted by department thereby ensuring standardization and efficiency in HR management.

Data Sharing & Integration Of Services
IHRMS Database is being used by various applications leading to standardisation and extrapolation of data available across different databases. Presently the data sharing with following is taking place using data replication at backend, with APIs sharing the data in automated manner.
Impact
A total transformation of HR Management in the state of Punjab has taken place within a span of 5 years whereby from almost no information to complete information related to various aspects of employees is available online that too up to date in real time. This information pool has become an enabler for various G2E related matters/application. A very robust solution of HR management and a single source of employee information available online 24*7 in iHRMS is attracting other organizations especially Public Sector Undertakings to dispense with their old/rudimentary HR systems and move to free of cost iHRMS solution which not only solves various HR management needs but is becoming instrumental in aggregation of information across different sections of government organisations.
