NIC Himachal Pradesh (NIC HP) started its working and operations in 1988 by setting up offices at State Government level and at all District Administrations level. Later on NIC HP offices were set up at HP Vidhan Sabha, HP High Court and HP Institute of Public Administration.

NIC Himachal Pradesh is providing consultancy, network support, technical support in IT related areas and designing, developing, implementing application software systems to all pillars of the State Government through national, state and district level initiatives of NIC, to support e-Governance services and various initiatives of Digital India for improving delivery of e-Services.
